Worcester 87161064330 Flow Sensor Adaptor
The flow switch acts as a safety device. It is a switch with an in-built sensor that sits in the pipework for both the domestic hot water and central heating systems. When the pump is turned on, the flow switches senses this movement and feeds the information back to the printed circuit board, allowing the ignition sequence to progress.
The function of the flow switch is to make sure that the burner cannot switch on whilst the system is low on water or dry.
The flow regulator valve controls the direction and flow rate of fluid within the heating and plumbing systems. Sometimes, these valves act as checking valves, inhibiting fluid from drifting in to places where it should not be.
